On April 6 within the framework of the implementation of the preventive action plan the Internal Security Bureau organized the seminar - discussion for the representatives of the institutions under subordination of the Ministry of the Interior on ensuring information security in the institutions they represent here.
This seminar was aimed to explore the situation in the field of information security, as well as identify existing internal risks in each institution regarding the confidentiality of restricted access information.
Officials of the Internal Security Bureau informed the audience of their functions, both preventing and combating criminal offences committed by official from certain institutions. During the seminar it was being discussed what measures to be taken on ensuring information security and what liability shall commence for unlawful disclosure of information.
In the future the Internal Security Bureau will also continue to organize similar events with focus on risk identification and prevention concerning decision making, handling of financial resources and staff-related risks.
The seminar - discussion was attended by representatives of the State Fire and Rescue Service, the Provision State Agency, the State Police, the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs, the state-owned limited liability company “The Polyclinic of the Ministry of the Interior”, the State Border Guard, the Information Centre of the Ministry of the Interior and the Health and Sport Centre of the Ministry of the Interior.
